Bread and Honey Events specialise in occasion catering, event production and all things delicious. We deal with some of the most discerning clients in and around London.
We are looking for a strong, motivated individual with a passion for great food to work full time (Monday to Friday) in our extremely busy bookings team. This could be an immediate start for the right candidate.
Main duties are:
• To be responsible for day to day client bookings, gauging food requirement for the client and promoting products / menus accordingly, ensuring that all costings are correctly relayed to ensure accurate invoicing.
• To work closely with the kitchen and transport team to ensure that bookings are managed by careful and systematic planning.
• To ensure telephone calls and emails are answered promptly and clients are aware of when they will receive a quote
• To ensure effective account management through discussions with regular clients, and previous clients.
• Database collation and updates using Excel.
• To assist with office management tasks such as stationery requirements, ensuring everything is in full working order.
• Take minutes at departmental meetings
• Update and maintain employee records, holidays and personal details.
• Assist with invoicing tasks when required.
• Assist with health and safety tasks when required.
The Requirements:
• Previous experience in an office environment
• Excellent telephone manner
• Good MS Office skills
• Educated to A level or equivalent
• Well developed written and verbal communication skills with excellent English grammar
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to deal with high profile clients in a professional manner
• A passion for food
• Able to work in the UK
