Full-Time in-house Bookkeeper
£8.00 - £9 Per hour
East London

Are you available to start work straight away? You must have strong Excel and Sage skills.
This position is not for accounting, but for (Book keeping), can you work 5 days a week. With the view of being offered a permanent position. If so, please read on.

We are looking for a Bookkeeper for a full-time Bookkeeping role /Office administration to oversee day-to-day functions and manage the office of a small Caribbean food import and wholesale distribution business.

The starting hourly rate ranges between £8.00-9.00 dependent on experience. Probationary period is 6 months.

You will be require to manage budgets, order goods, liaise with driver/sales persons, suppliers and customers, cut expenditure where possible and see to the upkeep of company finance. You will be required to perform many ad hoc office tasks as to ensure the office runs (efficiently and keep tidy at all times).

The successful candidate must be diploma qualified at a minimum. It is ESSENTIAL that you have a minimum of 2 years bookkeeping experience to be considered for this position. Please do not apply if you do not have a minimum of 2 years bookkeeping experience. In addition, the potential candidate must be registered self-employed and have documents showing the right to work in the UK.

• Working with invoices and receipts and posting as appropriate on to Sage database.
• Managing inventory and provide analysis.
• Maintaining credit control and stock control.
