Our client, an independent successful curtain and blind company based in Stoke Newington, North London, are recruiting for a reliable and trustworthy Blind and Curtain Fitter to join their busy team. Previous property maintenance/handywork experience is required for this position and training will be provided.
You will be given a schedule of appointments and will be required to travel to properties in the London area to take measurements and install curtains and blinds.
A clean driving licence is required for this role.
Hours of work: Monday – Friday, 8.30am – 5.30pm, plus overtime and occasional Sundays.
Type of contract: Permanent
Salary: £9.00 - £11.00 per hour, depending on experience.

Main duties:

Accurately measure for curtains and blinds.
Blind and curtain installation

Requirements for the role:

Basic property maintenance/DIY experience.
Valid driving licence
Good spoken English
Reliable and trustworthy
Flexible approach
Friendly and helpful attitude
Be able to work independently
A common sense approach to duties and ability to use own initiative.
An understanding of Health and Safety requirements.
