Bleecker Assistant Managers who Want to Progress and Develop

Posted: Today
Place: Central London, Greater London

Who we are;
Bleecker launched in summer 2012 as a food truck and our latest opening is within the new Bloomberg building, right in the heart of the City.  We are looking for an experienced manager who has ambition and wants to develop their career with a small, independent, growing business.
We now have a kiosk in Spitalfields, a shop in Victoria and a large annual summer pop up at the Southbank, as well as our Bloomberg opening, and have won Time Out’s best burger award three years running.  All of this is due to our team and our goal of 100% excellence.  We aim to serve the best burger and fries 10 out of 10 times, and we can’t do that without you!  We only use independent farmers who spend years raising their British native breed cattle, we hand-cut our fries from fresh potatoes, and we make our own ice cream.  We have dedication and pride in what we do as well as creating a fun and professional environment to work in.
Job role
Our assistant managers are Bleecker warriors. They inspire, lead, and take Bleecker troops into battle.  You will be the guardian (alongside the GM) of Bleecker’s fundamentals; food quality, service, food safety and health and safety.

You possess the ability to inspire, lead and develop your team with your passion for the industry.
You’ll never accept anything less than perfection, and have full knowledge of the brand, kitchen, food prep and service.
Always display excellent customer service skills, and promote the brand during every shift.
Ensure all food, and health and safety standards are carried out and correctly recorded.

Ideal candidate:
-              At least a year’s experience as a senior supervisor/manager of a food led business.
-              Has knowledge of food, and health and safety training.
-              Can manage and train staff whilst motivating and correcting.
-              Will remain calm under pressure and have a sense of humour.
-              Be a team player and lead by example – love getting Stuck in!
-              Kitchen experience is not essential, but preferable.
In return for your hard work, we offer competitive rates of pay, free meals on shift and a company discount.  There is a full training scheme in place, and the opportunity to move up within the company.  We want our team members to be our future managers, and you will be joining the company with the aim of ensuring this continues during our expansion.
We would love to hear from you!
Due to a high volume of applicants, only successful candidates will be contacted for interview/voluntary trial shift.
All applicants will be required to prove that they are legally allowed to work in the UK.
