A great Duty Manager ensures that he’s/she’s team delivers great customer service while following the
procedures set out by big Moe’s Diner, ensure the smooth running of the restaurant, organize breaks, food
timings, with the key aim of retaining and attracting new customers and consistently generating maximum
revenues per shift. We expect a big smile and great energy!
Job duties and responsibilities
• Taking responsibility for the business performance of the restaurant.
• Analyzing and planning restaurant sales levels, controlling labor cost and upselling.
• Ability to motivate the team in selling great food and creating a positive sales culture
• Organizing marketing activities, upselling competitions and act.
• Preparing reports at the end of the shift.
• To be able to give training to new staff, conduct staff reviews and develop existing staff.
• Taking part in monthly staff meeting and weekly management meeting.
• Have a basic food preparation knowledge and be able to operate bar and kitchen machineries.
• Coordinating the entire operation of the restaurant during scheduled shifts.
• Supervising continuous implementation of the customer service steps and procedures according to the
customer service training
• Ensure that staff follows Big Moe’s standards on a daily basis
• Working in a team responding straight to the GM and working with staff through the supervisors on
the shift.
• Responding to customer complaints and handling according to BM standard
• Ensuring that all employees adhere to the company's uniform standards.
• Meeting, greeting and customer service. Table reservations.
• Advising customers on menu, personalized customer service.
• Recruiting, training and motivating staff.
• Organizing and supervising the shifts of kitchen, nigh shit and cleaning staff.
• Preparing cash drawers and providing petty cash as required on a daily basis.
• Maintaining high standards of quality control, hygiene, and health and safety.
• Checking stock levels and ordering supplies Knowledge of suppliers and ordering procedures.
Knowledge of maintenance contractors
• Helping in any area of the restaurant when circumstances dictate.
• To perform any other relevant duties as assigned
