Where does this role fit in?
Working closely with ITG's New Business, and Marketing teams, you'll be creating thought provoking, and engaging bid and tender documents for our new business proposals. Formed 9 years' ago, ITG is already running at 600-people strong, with clients up and down the UK, Europe, and the USA. As Bid Manager, you'll be playing a pivotal role in helping this growth to continue as you create the documents to help us win that business!
Working on multi-million pound annual bids, you'll be someone who goes above and beyond to research the prospective client and fully understand their needs in relation to the services on offer from ITG. You'll be doing more than just putting all the information together as you take full ownership of shaping the proposals, conducting research and maintaining a library of assets to help bring the ITG offering to life.
This isn't going to be your typical Bid and Tender management role, ITG's full range of marketing communications services revolve around our very own technology platform, Media Centre. You'll be approaching the bids from both the technology side of things, understanding the functions of our system, as well as the services on offer across Print, Digital, eCRM, and more!

The make-up of a successful Bid Manager will require a broad mix of skills and experience. Firstly, you'll be knowledgeable in the marketing services industry, either from a technical side: MRM, Marketing Automation, CRM, etc. Or from a service side: Print, Digital, Content marketing, etc.
We're looking for someone who demonstrates exceptional copywriting skills, creating engaging content which tells succinct stories to portray the ITG offering in full. You're a creative thinker, being able to shape any bid around our total service offering, bringing it all together in a comprehensive, but easy to understand, format. You have the ability to build relationships with senior level stakeholders within ITG, as well as be comfortable in meetings with key figures in prospective clients.
You can showcase outstanding research skills to fully understand the landscape of the prospective client, putting together content which mirrors their needs and their culture. You've got experience working on high value annual contracts within the private sector (public sector experience isn't necessary here). Further to that, you have knowledge of marketing execution / marketing technology to fully understand how ITG's Media Centre works for our clients. Ideally, you'll also have good Design skills, a competent user of Keynote, ability to also use Adobe InDesign will definitely make your application stand out.
