Experienced Joiner / Bench Joiner required to manufacture premium quality timber sash windows, Casement windows, French doors, front doors and sliding/ folding doors.
You will assist in all aspects of manufacturing and assembling, and assistance with onsite installation may be required.
Other duties may include: On-site measuring up of all joinery items to be made and ordered for the client. Therefore, you must make sure that everything is ordered correctly.
Producing technical drawings of the joinery items measured using a simple software program called Joinerysoft for approval by the client and for the joiners to make the items.
Carpentry joinery qualifications to NVQ level 2 (or equivalent) and/or 4 years’ experience as a minimum.
Must have good communication skills, verbal and written.
You should have recent experience in joinery workshops including using tenoning machines, Spindle moulders and planing machines with some on site experience also.
You should have basic computer skills and be able to work from CAD drawings and be able to produce traditional box sash windows, traditional Casement windows and French doors from start to finish and have excellent attention to detail.
You should have Good organisational skills and a desire to grow with the company.
A UK driving licence is a requirement.
All equipment will be provided.
This is a full time Paye position.
Hours of work: 8am - 4.30 pm, 5 days a week - 37.5 hrs per week (excluding breaks).
Wage Details:

Starting basic salary up to £26,500.00 / dependent on skills/experience.
Plus Overtime (when authorised), on week days (x1.25 = up to £16.92 per hour) and Saturdays (x1.5= up to £20.29 per hour) when available and authorised*
Plus profit related bonus*
Plus work place pension contribution*

28 Days paid holidays per annum (including 8 bank holidays). Qualifying period applies.
