You'll initially work with an experienced guide for training at £40 per shift, rising up depending upon good feedback.
You'll meet guests, and guide them around the taprooms of local Bermondsey breweries.
The brewers will give the tours of the equipment and teach guests about the brewing process however with training you'll pick up facts that you'll be able to pass onto guests, along with knowledge of the drinks.
You'll have the following skills:
- Good timekeeping
- Trustworthy
- Ability to learn quickly and think on your feet
- Adapt to situations
- Be outgoing and have confidence with all types of people.
Our groups are usually people who have some initial interest in beer however most do not have an in depth level of brewing. This is often a good introduction to new Beers and many come as part of a gift received.
They are usually from professional backgrounds and looking for an enjoyable experience on their Saturday afternoon off.
In future, we'd like someone who would also like to work in East London and on our meat, cheese and beer tours - so if you have knowledge in these areas that would be a bonus.
Social media accounts/knowledge such as twitter and instagram are a bonus too.
We are looking for people to start training from 13th May.
You may not be required all Saturdays and you can choose when you work due to the freelance position, however the more available you are on Saturday's will mean more potential shifts. You may also be interested in training up people to work under you.
If you are interested then please let us know
- why you'd be good for the role (cover letter)
- when you are available for May/June 2022 on Saturdays
- send a CV including contact details
- any relevant experience you may have.
We are looking to hire suitable candidates as soon as possible.
