Bartender – Your role at Cinnamon
Job Profile
• Makes and serves drinks, ensuring all guests in the bar feel comfortable
• Meets service requirements and exceeds guests expectations
• Follows The Cinnamon standards and procedures
Reports to:
• Restaurant Management team
• Executive Chef, Head Chef and Sous Chefs
• Heads of Department, General Manager, Commercial Director and CEO
Key Areas of Responsibility
• Ensure all guests are relaxed prior to their meals
• Ensure all food and beverage orders are delivered in a timely manner
• Keeps all work areas clean and sanitised
• To be responsible for every drink that is poured. To report any incorrect and complimentary drinks to the Manager.
• To ensure smooth running of table service on the floor by working openly with the rest of the Cinnamon staff
• To know the table numbers
• To be thoroughly familiar with all drinks and know how to make them in a professional, efficient and relaxed manner
• To have an excellent knowledge of the menu – food, wine and cocktails
• To ensure drinks are not served to under age customers
• Ensure all bar tabs are transferred to the correct restaurant check if guests move into the restaurant to eat.
