The Lion and Key Café Bar Grill is looking for an Bartender.
Offering a quality selection of cocktails, spirits, Beers and wine, we are seeking an experienced and creative bartender who can develop. You must have excellent cocktail knowledge, a passion for the industry and a commitment to providing great customer service.
The role will include assisting the General Manager in the effective running of the bar, ensuring customer satisfaction by maintaining an exceptional standard of delivery and professionalism whilst assisting with achieving the management financial targets.
We are looking for:
• Proven experience in high volume environment
• Previous experience managing a bar team
• Strong cocktail knowledge/experience
• An understanding of what great guest service
• experience in stock control, ordering and management
• Ability to Open, Cash up and Close
• Effective communication with guests and staff
• To be able to train and develop your team
• Energetic and enthusiastic team player – you will be play a vital role in ensuring our bars remain successful!
The successful applicant will be responsible for the bar in it's entirety; ordering stock (including spirits, soft drinks, tea and coffee along with disposables and fruit), service for the restaurant and maintaining a high level of cleanliness and hygiene.
The bar tender position is full time and based on shifts per week over 6 days (this will include weekends).
Applicants must have a good command of English and living within East London, this would be an advantage due to the hours worked.
