Nyana Bar is currently seeking a professional candidate to join our team as a Barmaid/ Waitress. We are looking for a highly energetic, ambitious and motivated individual to ensure the effective that has the ability to communicate effectively at all levels with a diverse range of people in order to meet the Company expectations.
Summary of Duties
-Preparation of the cafe/bar for opening/closing
-Cashiering: to ensure that at the end of the shift a balance is reported is printed and placed in an envelope together with the cash and/or PDQ slips of that shift.
-To follow terms, conditions and policies of the company.
-Answer questions about policies and services. Resolve customer complaints.
-Check supplies and inform bar Duty Manager if an order needs to be placed.
-Liaise with chef for orders.
-To make sure orders are delivered on time and in the correct presentation.
-To clean hotel bar and lounge.
-Prepare alcoholic/non-alcoholic drinks.
-Preparation of cocktail recipes and cocktail quick lists.
-Answer customer’s questions, make them feel welcome, and build on-going relationships
-Ensure all alcohol spirits are served using a measure.
-Working hours are 24 hours per week. Management reserves the right to require additional or reduced working hours per week.
