ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for a keen, dynamic, enthusiastic, passionate bar staff. Our bartenders use their knowledge of wine, they help customers and depending on their level of responsibility, may choose the wines stocked by the restaurant or bar.
They may also be experts in other alcoholic drinks, such as cocktails, aperitifs, Beers, and liqueurs. experience is a bonus but not essential. Passion is what we're after!
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL
Previous experience working in a busy environment
Basic knowledge of the regions of Italy, their food and wine appellations, and the importance of regional food and wine combinations.
Excellent team player with strong communication skills
Take pride in their appearance and is fluent in English
An understanding of exceptional guest service and exceeding expectations
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Serving drinks at the correct temperature and in the correct manner.
Clean glassware and other equipment such as trolleys, decanters, ice buckets, coasters and bottle holders.
Helping floor team and advising customers on the best choice of wine for their meal.
