Bartender
We are now on the look out for a talented and experienced individual to join our Restaurant and Bar team in the capacity of a Bartender.

Main Responsibilities:
•To deliver an inspirational experience for the guest from the moment they arrive to the moment they leave.
•To monitor par levels, in accordance with procedure of fresh produce, ice, glassware and all products during the shift to allow the bar to function efficiently.
•To participate fully as a team member within the Food and Beverage Department.
•To prepare the bar for service, ensuring cleanliness and polishing of glassware and equipment.
•To display professional salesmanship and sales techniques in co-operation with the Head Bartender.
•To take guest orders and ensure input in to Micros Point of Sale system in accordance with hotel policy.
•To ensure that bar is fully stocked prior to and during service with relevant equipment - i.e. Wet and dry stock, glassware, ice, napkins etc. - and clean and tidy at all times.
•To close down the bar at the end of service ensuring that the outlet is left clean and tidy. To ensure that all stock and equipment are securely locked away when closing the bar.
•To be fully aware of and implement the current licensing laws and the hotel’s licensing policy, fire regulations and evacuation procedures.
•To have a thorough knowledge of the operational capability of the Micros Point of Sale system to ensure proper operation at all times following the policy manual in the Department including the handling of cash when applicable.
•To display a full knowledge of the food and beverage menu with regards to contents, mise-en-place and accompaniments/condiments.
•Perform cleaning duties in the outlet and in back of house areas related to the outlet.
•Assist in the preparation of stocktaking of operating equipment or supplies within the outlet when required.
•Participate in food/wine tastings.
•Carry out any other duties as and when assigned by the Management of the Hotel and department
