Bartender:
An opportunity has arisen for a Bartender to join our team in The Rib Room Bar and Restaurant here at Jumeirah Carlton Tower.
The main purpose of the role is:

To order all necessary stocks from the appropriate stores and maintain bar stocks and operational level.
To check all deliveries to the bar for accuracy.
To clean and prepare the bar prior the service and lay up all tables correctly and mis-en-place prior to, during and after service.
To provide a warm welcome to the guests at the bar.
To ensure you have a solid knowledge of the range of drinks available and understand the pricing.
To assist customers with their choice of wine or drink and to take the appropriate orders.
To actively up sell to enable revenues to be maximized.
To ensure smooth service of beverages along with the correct accompaniments, using the correct equipment and glasses, to the standard set down by the Manager.
To ensure the correct handling, use of, storage and cleaning of all liquor service equipment.
To assist with restaurant service when required.
To be responsible for the correctly posting of bills and their payment in accordance with the hotel credit policy.

The ideal bartender will have the following skills and experience:

Excellent level of English
Friendly, approachable and professional
Previous experience in a similar role
Passion for beverages
