The Pukka Bar is a glamorous bar serving light food, afternoon tea, cocktails, champagne, wines and artisan spirits from 12 noon. It is located within the renowned Chutney Mary, one of London's best Indian restaurants, situated in exclusive St James's

THE POSITION
We are seeking an experienced bartender with a flair for mixology, good inter-personal skills, passion for service.
As mixologist you will work with the bar team to ensure the quality and service of our drinks is consistently of the highest quality. You will be fully responsible for the day-to-day functions of the bar - from stock takes, stock rotation to ensuring full preparation of the bar mis-en-place and maintaining cleanliness of the bar.
You will contribute to the smooth and efficient running of the Pukka bar with its food offer.
This is a full time position of 40 hours per week, including evenings and weekends.
THE CANDIDATE
Essentials:
• Previous experience in a high-quality restaurant or bar environment in London
• Good mixologist – to be able to create cocktails with Asian influences
• A passion for excellent service and genuine enthusiasm for hospitality.
• Confidence, strength and capability to run a busy bar
• Ability to read guests and react in an appropriate manner
• Attentive and pro-active approach with the ability to respond quickly to both guest and management request
• Immaculate presentation with attention to detail
• Ability and desire to be part of a team
• Excellent English and communication skills
WHAT WE OFFER
We offer a competitive salary of circa £12 - £12.50 per hour, depending on experience
