About the Job:
An opportunity has arisen for a Bartender to join the restaurant and bar team here at Jumeirah Carlton Tower Hotel.
The main duties and responsibilities of this role:
•To clean and prepare the bar prior the service and lay up all tables correctly and mis-en-place prior to, during and after service
•To provide a warm welcome to the guests at the bar
•To ensure you have a solid knowledge of the range of drinks available and understand the pricing
•To assist customers with their choice of wine or drink and to take the appropriate orders
•To actively up sell to enable revenues to be maximized
•To ensure smooth service of beverages along with the correct accompaniments, using the correct equipment and glasses, to the standard set down by the manager
•To ensure the correct handling, use of, storage and cleaning of all liquor service equipment
•To assist with restaurant service when required
•To ensure the smooth running of the bar in the most efficient, courteous and effective manner, whilst maintaining the bar profitability
About you:
The ideal candidate for this position will have the following skills and experience:
•Previous experience in a similar role
•Excellent level of English
•Be friendly, approachable and professional
•A passion for customer service
