Lahpet is one of London’s only restaurants to specialise in authentic Burmese cooking.
Aiming to shine a light on this relatively untapped cuisine, Lahpet has been popularising traditional Burmese cooking by presenting Londoners with regional specialities with a hint of refinement and contemporary flare.
Owners Dan and Head Chef Zaw both have Burmese heritage and are the driving forces behind the concept which was cultivated and received critical acclaim in its Hackney warehouse location in London Fields during 2022.
Lahpet opened its first permanent site in Shoreditch in early April and is now looking to hire an experienced Barman to join the team.
What we are looking for in a Barman:

A passion for, and knowledge of, food and drink.
Hard working and professional
Friendly, approachable individuals that can keep a cool head under pressure and that present well.
An interest, understanding and passion for South East Asian cooking would be beneficial but is not a prerequisite.
