How The Ned Happened
Taking over the City’s disused Midland Bank Building, Soho House and Co. And New York’s Sydell Group have collaborated to restore the beautiful Grade I listed building. Hosting 9 restaurants, bars, a member’s club, Barber and Parlour, Ned’s Club Active and Relax, two swimming pools, along with six dedicated event spaces.

Barber and Parlour
The beauty and grooming spaces at The Ned bring together a range of men’s and women’s services in a relaxed and unpretentious atmosphere.
A one-stop shop for head-to-toe maintenance, from Cowshed manicures and pedicures to facials, Parlour 1 is the ideal spot for pre-party preparations or a full-on makeover. There’s also a skin rejuvenation bar, offering anti-ageing and skin-correcting express LED light facials along with relaxing treatment rooms, the perfect place to unwind with a Moody Massage.
The Role
We are currently recruiting an experienced, friendly and passionate Barista to work in the Private Members area of the Spa and Gym at The Ned.
This role will be responsible for looking after refreshments for members and guests of Barber and Parlour and The Ned’s Club Active.
Main responsibilities
• Look after and maintain all areas of the Club Room
• Ensuring tidiness of the Club Room (books arranged in orderly manner, only current newspapers and magazines are displayed around the room, tables cleaned and wiped down after each use)
• Providing customer service offering and serving food and beverage, both in the club and other Spa areas when required
• Assisting guests with all their requests in accordance with company’s regulations
• Working as a barrister at the Mint Bar when required
• Informing about state of cleanliness around the Club Room and Spa, in particular the changing rooms
• Ensuring privacy and security of members in accordance with Ned’s membership rules
• Always ensure members and hotel guest’s cards are checked, preventing access of persons not allowed in the room – informing Security when necessary
