Sweet Things, an Award Winning cake shop and cafe, located in the heart of beautiful Primrose Hill, is looking for an experienced café team member to join our expanding cafe full time including weekends.
The Sweet Things range includes all sorts of cakes, cupcakes, brownies and more! Based in Primrose Hill, Sweet Things is well known for high quality cakes, supplying Selfridges, delis and private Clients around London.
35-40 hours per week including weekends. Shift hours are generally 8 or 9 hours between 7.30am and 6.30pm.
28 days holiday per year and 50% staff discount.
Minimum 6 months Barista experience required. Latte art experience preferable not essential.
This is not a pure Barista role, it also involves till work, customer service, cashing up and more. Ability to work alone and in a team is crucial. A passion for good customer service and consistent quality. Love of good cakes and coffee a must.
Applicants must be friendly, reliable and organized, good at both working in a team and alone.
The role includes:
Providing friendly customer service
Maintaining excellent standards of hygiene and cleanliness
Performing opening and closing tasks
Use of POS
Prior permission to work in the UK is essential.
