We are looking for barback(s) to join our f and b team.
As a Barback you’ll be expected to maintain the back of house area, loading and unloading dishwasher, polishing glasses, stocking the bar with ice, and making teas and coffees to be distributed to the members. Our aim with all barbacks is to provide a development plan, so that within 6 months they will start to learn the drinks and cocktail recipes and engage with guests at the bar and deliver 5* service.
Responsibilities and Duties
Assisting with opening and closing duties, keeping the BOH area clean and stocked to ensure that service runs smoothly.
You will need to be confident in making coffees and teas as a huge percentage of the duties will be based around this process.
Must be comfortable with manual handling to restock the bar and boh area.
Must be flexible and able to work without restrictions, there will be three shift patterns available - early morning 7am to 4pm with an hour break / afternoon shift 12pm to 9pm with an hour break / 3pm to midnight with an hour break. You will be given between 40 to 48 hours per week, and will work 5 days across the 7 days.
Qualifications
Previous experience in a similar role with at least 1 years experience in London.
Ability to work under pressure and to a high standard.
Ability to meet physical and scheduling demands of the position, including, walking, standing, or lifting heavy items for extended periods and working nights, weekends and holidays.
Good command of the English language.
