The Royal Albert Hall stands with the most iconic and acclaimed buildings in London, and hosts the world’s most acclaimed orchestras, ballets, musicians and artists in the world.
Since January 2011, rhubarb have been at the Royal Albert Hall providing all food and drink at one of the world’s most iconic venues. The operation consists of 3 dining spaces: Verdi Italian Kitchen, Coda by Eric Chavot, Elgar Bar and Grill, 14 bars, 1 retail outlet, 147 hospitality boxes and offers seated dinners for up to 2000 guests on a special raised floor in the auditorium.
We are recruiting a self-motivated Arena Bars Supervisor, who is ready for a new professional challenge in this bespoke Premium environment.
Job role
The Arena Bars are made up of Berry Bros and Rudd No.3 Bar and Heineken Green Room. Open two hours prior to performances, the Arena Bars offer guests of the Royal Albert Hall a unique luxury pre-show aperitif and light-dining experience. As Arena Bars Supervisor your responsibilities will be;

To ensure that the bars runs smoothly and that customers are provided with a high standard of service at all times.
To allocate bar staff duties in accordance with cleaning schedules, operational duties and till operation procedures.
To ensure each and every product served by bar staff is consistent.
To ensure that all staff are aware of current promotional activities, and current prices in accordance with the company’s tariffs.
To ensure that adequate stock levels are maintained and that fridges and shelves are clean and fully stocked.
To ensure that stock is correctly rotated and that product sell by dates are duly noted.
Any other reasonable duties as directed by the Bars Manager or his/her delegated representative.

Candidate profile

Your past working experience and educational background will provide a close fit with rhubarb’s commitment to quality, style and flair whilst delivering an outstanding customer service exceeding the set expectations of our clientele.
You will be an excellent team player, able to communicate at all levels.
You should possess intermediate MS office skills and have previous working experience of POS systems.
Flexible within your working hours you are able to commit to late evening and weekend work.
