Islington Assembly Hall are looking to recruit Bar, Cloakroom and Box office staff.
We are 890 cap venue that is well known for live music events. We have had acts such as the Foo Fighters, Skepta, Sam Smith, David Gilmore and many more perform on our stage. We are now recruiting for the busy months ahead.
We are proud to say we pay our staff the LLW at £9.75 an hour, holiday pay is on top of the hourly rate which takes it up to £10.93 an hour. We can offer shifts most nights of the week during our busy periods.
This is a great way to get an insight into the live music industry and would benefit anyone interested in the events.
Most shifts are in the evening starting at 6pm and finishing at 12am with the occasional later shift or day shift. We pay monthly and have a pension option available for people looking to put something away for the future.
We are keen to offer development opportunities to our staff with possibilities of promotion to Supervisor and Assistant bar manager roles.
It's seasonal and has busy periods and quieter ones so ideal for students or people looking for seasonal work. Our Autumn period is our busiest with shifts available nearly every night. We are looking for people who want anything from two to five nights a week.
experience is needed for the bar work and box office but for the cloakroom it isn't necessary, but a positive attitude is appreciated.
