Palatial Leisure Limited is appointing a Bar Staff / General Assistant to be based at their Elephant and Castle.The London Palace Bingo Club at the Elephant and Castle, the biggest and busiest but also the friendliest bingo club in the UK, along with their Palace Super Bowl.The Job a General Assistant you will learn a wide variety of jobs:* Checking bingo claims* Giving change* Checking people in for bowling* Catering for children's birthday parties* Selling bingo books* Processing and checking memberships* Serving in the bar* Catering, hosting our online chat (alongside our online bingo), etc.An ideal Bar Staff / General Assistant will have the following:* You must be at least 18 years old* You will need to be numerate* Computer literate* Able to do cash handling* No experience necessary but any leisure or retail is an advantage.We are in the leisure industry so you need to be flexible regarding to working hours and all our positions include working evenings and weekends.In return for this you will receive:* A starting salary rate of GBP7.50 per hour.* 28 Days Holiday including Bank Holidays* Good Career Prospects for anyone wanting a career in the Gambling industry.
