We are looking for experienced and friendly bar staff to join our team at J +A.
J +A Cafe and Bar was established is 2008 by two Irish sisters. Specialising in Irish home cooking and baking and good old fashioned hospitality our menu is simple, healthy and wholesome. Traditional sandwiches, homemade cakes, hearty stews and soups, healthy and nutritious salads, Irish Craft Beers, Classic Cocktails and specialist coffee from J. Atkinson and Co and a great cup of Barry's Tea!
Located in a beautiful old diamond cutting factory building and its courtyard J +A is a thriving business in the heart of Clerkenwell. This is an exciting opportunity for somebody looking for a new journey in their career or someone looking for a bar work for the summer months. The summer months at J +A mean you can enjoy our beautiful courtyard and working outside!
If you are interested in the position you will be required to have the following experience.
- At least 1 years experience
- Excellent communication skills and a natural team player
- Fluent written and Spoken English and all necessary documents to work in UK
- High standard of customer service
- Naturally friendly and hospitable
- A good all rounder who is willing to learn and work hard
- Cocktail trained!
We will offer you.
- £8 - £8.50 per hour - based on your experience if you Barista / Cocktail this will vary
- Full Time - 35-40 hours per week
- 28 days paid holiday (including being closed over the Christmas period)

- Rate of pay based on experience and level
- Room for development and progression within the company
Working Days are generally Tuesday - Friday plus one Weekend day.
