The Role
Petersham Nurseries are looking for a passionate, creative and motivating Bar Staff with their newproject in Covent Garden. This role would suite a candidate that can deliver exceptional service and build rapport with guests. At the same time our Bar Staff member will be a great team player with an open mind, hunger for knowledge and a hands on approach.
The role will be challenging but highly rewarding as one of the most anticipated openings of 2022. You will be at the forefront of this exciting launch.

Two restaurants (La Goccia and The Petersham), bar, retail store, deli and florist in a prestigious location in Covent Garden awaits. La Goccia – Petersham Nurseries interpretation of Cicchetti and aperitivo will be showcased within this vibrant and accessible all – day restaurant offering an extensive menu of small sharing plates. An open grill and a wood burning oven will add an element of drama and theatre to the ambiance, as food will be prepared in front of diners.
La Goccia Bar – will have a lively botanical atmosphere, serving nature- inspired cocktails. A perfect meeting point which overlooks Floral Court, it will have the perfect aspect, with an interior that re?ects the ever-changing seasons and inspirational ?oral displays in the courtyard beyond.
Necessary experience and Skills
·Have previous experience working within a high profile, destination bar as Bartender
·Be immaculately presented, attentive and proactive with the ability to respond quickly to needs of the guests and management team
·Have a real flair and passion for service and working with quality products and interesting drinks menus
·Excellent wine, beer, cocktail knowledge
·An excellent team player with exceptional communication skills
·Minimum 1 year experience in a similar working environment
