Joining the team at Putney's leading wine lounge and function rooms, you'll help to deliver the customer service that ensures whether a customer just wants a glass of wine or a complete party, christening, wedding, conference or corporate event, we can exceed their expectations. The Star and Garter is a beautiful place to work, complete with grand staircase, Victorian Ballroom, Cheese Room and spectacular views of the river, and you'll be right at home with a team that are supportive, professional, welcoming and fun. Star and Garter is part of Glendola Leisure which operates many different bars, pubs and restaurants across the UK. Our bar staff do whatever they can to make a customer's experience with us a truly memorable one. So you'll be joining a fun but professional team who support each other and thrive on getting to know customers' needs and exceeding their expectations. Part of that is running an efficient bar, ensuring stocks are maintained and ensuring products are up to scratch. You'll also look out for further sales opportunities whenever possible and take advantage of on-going training to keep your skills and knowledge up to date.
