We are a proper, old fashioned community local pub situated near Highbury and Islington tube station.  Our main business is being part of the local area, catering for a host of regular punters, the surrounding offices and businesses and Arsenal fans 26 times a year.
We serve a range of great real Ales and home cooked food, we chat to our guests, we smile a lot, we’re very proud of everything we serve and we look after each other.  This isn’t like a managed house, you’re just a number type of big business - this is an individually owned pub, where the staff are like family.  We all work hard and play hard together, and jump in and help each other when we need to.
We are looking for a couple of new additions to our team.  experience is preferable but not essential. We are more interested in the ability to smile, communicate, honesty and integrity.  We can teach you how to pull a great pint, or even knock up the perfect sausage and Mash, if you so desire.  We can’t teach you your work ethic or personality - so that’s a pre requisite.
Full or part time requirements will be considered, to start pretty much immediately, the starting rate is £8 per hour - paid weekly - unless you are a proven Duty Manager or Pub chef already.
