We are looking for experienced and ambitious full time and part time bar and floor staff to add to our team. Progression to a supervisor position is attainable for the right employee. The right person must display a passion for food , wine, beer and service, and  must have experience of working in similar environments for at least 1 year. You must have exceptional beer chat! Rate of pay is dependent on experience. Please note this position is monthly paid.
The Grove Pub, Dining Room and Garden is situated on leafy Maple Road in Surbiton, an area often referred to as “Surbiton Village”, due to its wealth of independent shops, eateries and restaurants. A stone’s throw from the Thames and pleasant walk along the river from Kingston Upon Thames, The Grove has a 250 cover “secret” beer garden that provides an oasis of calm away from the hustle and bustle of weekend life. Serviced by its own outside bar, the garden also features an al fresco dining terrace, where table service is offered Friday evening, Saturday lunch and dinner and Sunday lunch (all depending on the weather of course). This is complemented by an 80 cover restaurant and a spacious bar area, making the Grove perfect for any occasion.

Essential Requirements:
- Fluent written and spoken English
- English bank account in your own name
- NI number and relevant work visa’s/passport.
- Honesty, punctuality, great communication skills and a can do attitude.
- An outgoing personality and fun sense of humour, with a willingness learn and succeed.
- Ability to perform to a consistently high standard with exceptional customer service skills.
