Job Title: Banchik
The Company:
The South Kensington Club is a 25,000 sq ft exclusive members only club dedicated to fitness, wellbeing, social and culture with opening hours from 6:30am to midnight. The club’s offering a mediterranean restaurant serving healthy cuisine, comfortable member’s sitting room, a voyagers club (organising expeditions), a state-of-the-art equipped gym, Turkish Hammam, Russian Banyas, a watsu pool, treatment rooms, concierge service and more.
The Role:
To provide prompt, efficient and courteous service to all clients who visit the spa.
Key Responsibilities Include:
• Provide the highest possible standards of customer service ensuring guests are served in a polite, efficient, professional and friendly way.
• Ensure all members entering your area are immediately acknowledged in a friendly manner.
• Establish a good working relationship with team members.
• Demonstrate a pro-active approach to self-development.
• Maintain high standards of personal presentation and hygiene in line with the company dress code.
• Ensure that personal KPI’s are achieved.
• To carry out any other duties as may be required by your line manager, or senior manager
Knowledge, Skills, experience and Qualifications:
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a luxury Spa Environment
• Minimum 2 years working as a Banchik
• Mature approach to stressful situations
• Gracious, tactful and courteous in dealing with members of the team
• Demonstrate and fit and healthy lifestyle
• The ability to communicate effectively and persuasively at all levels
• A good team ethos is important, along with the ability to support team members and colleagues
