Bakers at all Levels Wanted in London

We are currently recruiting for passionate bakery professionals at all levels with our modern and friendly bakery. Here is an outline of positions available:
• Bakery Operative: Entry level role suited to someone with a desire to gain
exposure within a fast paced bakery production unit. Individuals with some
kitchen experience and/or food qualification welcome to apply.
• Baker: Experienced baker required to join the team – would suit individuals with
table/shaping/mixing/oven experience. Level of experience in flexible but ideally
2 years or above.
• Bakery Supervisor: This role requires a skilled baker with the capacity to lead a
shift and ensure a successful production.
• Head Baker: Senior role for someone with over 5 years’ experience in all
aspects of bread baking. Ability to train and upskill existing workforce, allocate
tasks, and overcome staffing issues and any problems arising during a shift.
The main purpose of the bakery department is to produce bread products to meet customer orders, complying with all standard operational requirements and minimising wastage.
The ideal candidates should:
• Have a genuine interest and desire to be part of a high volume bread
manufacturing facility
• Have good organisational skills
• Be a team player
• Have a can do attitude
• Be punctual and hard-working
• Be willing to learn
• Be able to communicate effectively in English
These positions are for 45 hours per week, split into 5 shifts, including weekends and public holidays. You will occasionally be required to work the night shift.
Paul Rhodes Bakery is a leading artisan wholesale bakery based in Greenwich in South East London. The location is accessible via North Greenwich (Jubilee line), Cutty Sark (DLR) and Maze Hill mainline station. We supply top quality products 7 days a week to customers all over London.
