Basic salary of 27,000 plus tronc tbc but in the region of £3,000 Preopening start late September/early October A really exciting concept is coming to the City that will be the second opening of this well backed business Working 5 shifts per week from 3pm until midnight latest and can include weekends pro rata Working within the pastry team as sole baker The Concept:
Food led with open service kitchen- Carefully designed work flow with top equipment.
Serving breakfast, lunch and dinner with 100 covers over 7 days brunch at the weekends.
Downstairs bakery, butchery and prep kitchen supplying the kitchen with charcuterie and cured meats and to existing and future openings within the company.
Everything made on site including breads and viennoiserie for the restaurant and retail bakery.
Craft suppliers using only seasonal ingredients to produce a modern menu with detail and creativity The Person:
Baker with at least 7 years stable experience ideally from an independent bakery or hotels/restaurants, not a commercial background.
Knowledge of making artisan breads using slow fermentation plus viennoiserie by hand.
Able to work alone but within the pastry team.
Ability to teach and train the pastry team to cover days off etc.
Flexible and adaptable to working in a new opening Only suitable candidates will be contacted about this position and you must be eligible to live and work in the UK unrestricted.
