Flavourtown Bakery Baker Decorator
In 2013 we started Flavourtown bakery with the sole aim to make London's best cakes, cupcakes and brownies! We've only ever used the worlds best ingredients, we've always made all of our sauces, caramels and fillings by hand using all natural ingredients in our London production kitchens and we've won loads of awards for our epic cake. Customers place orders online on our website and we hand deliver them across London along with selling our cakes and cupcakes in Harrods and Selfridges.
We opened our first shop in Parsons Green, Fulham last December and we're getting busier and busier! We're baking fresh onsite every day throughout the day and offering outstanding artisan made coffee.
We’re looking to recruit baker/ decorators with EPIC baking and cake decorating skills to join our team in our Fulham shop or our Park Royal production kitchen. You’ll be an accomplished baker AND have outstanding cake decoration skills as you’ll be baking and decorating across our full range of cakes, cupcakes and brownies for the shop.
Key skills
*At least one years baking experience in a similar environment.
*Outstanding decorating skills with superb attention to detail.
•experience working with buttercream and cream cheese icing.
•Superb hand piping skills
*A keen interest in food
*Hard working, fun and energetic. You’ll be keen to learn and develop.
*A real team player with a ‘can do’ attitude.
*Basic food hygiene experience
*Organised and willing to immerse yourself in our culture.
We have killer roles for experienced baker/decorators with at least one years professional experience who aren't afraid of deadlines, hard work and have a real eye for detail and quality.
Salary is £9 / £10 per hour depending on experience with up to 29 days holiday per year (depending on days / hours worked), generous 50% staff discount with room to develop further as we grow.
40 Hours per week with full-time contract.
These positions are based in Fulham with Parsons Green being the nearest tube and at Park Royal. Early starts (6am) and weekends will be part of these roles. You must be UK based with the right to live and work here.
