Baker needed at The Old Post Office Bakery, an artisan, organic bakery in Clapham, South London established in 1982.
We are preferably looking for someone to work part time, 20-30 hours a week, but we are prepared to create a full time job if the candidate is outstanding.
We make a range of baked goods: Yeasted, sourdough, continental and British breads, cakes and pastries using quality ingredients and and artisan techniques with no artificial additives.
The job is mixing, hand moulding and baking breads and pastries for our two shops and market Stalls at the weekend and during the week.
Some experience as a baker is essential, although we are happy to consider applicants looking to learn the trade, as long they are enthusiastic, hard working, committed and can work co-operatively.
We offer good rates of pay (experience linked) and will give the right person the chance to work in a creative, community minded environment, with a friendly team.
