rhubarb has been providing all the food and drink at the iconic Royal Albert Hall since 2011. Without doubt one of the most prestigious venues in the UK, rhubarb manages private boxes, six dining spaces and fourteen bars.
This is a rare opportunity for a Back of House Porter to join the energetic, hardworking team
Job role
- Set-up boxes and events for the following day when required by the BOH Manager with crockery, cutlery, glassware etc
- Ensure all crockery, cutlery, glassware and equipment is washed in the correct manner as per the manufacturer's requirements.
- Removal of all rubbish from catering corridor to loading bay complying with the R. A. H recycling policy.
- Move any furniture and equipment around the building according to daily needs.
- Always keeping equipment in good condition and avoiding damages.
- Clean and clear the catering corridor in accordance with cleaning schedule.
- Clean and clear the staff changing area
- Follow all health and safety policy
- Report any Health and Safety hazards to the BOH Night Supervisor/BOH Manager.
- Complete the daily and weekly cleaning schedules.
- Ensure store areas are clean and tidy at all times
- Ensure stores are very well organised and secure as required at End of Shift

- You must be well presented and be fluent in English.
