Back of House Night Porter, Iconic Royal Albert Hall, South Kensington.
7.50 per hour, 40 hours per week
We are currently looking for a Back of House Night Porter to work at the iconic Royal Albert Hall, South Kensington.
Operational
- Boxes cleared down in an efficient and timely manner
- The removal of all crockery, cutlery, glassware and equipment from boxes.
- Ensuring equipment is not damaged in transit
- Ensure all crockery, cutlery, glassware and equipment is washed in the correct manner as per the manufacturer?s requirements.
- Dry and stack all washed crockery, cutlery, glassware and equipment in the correct boxes and areas.
- Removal of all rubbish from catering corridor to loading bay complying with the R.A.H recycling policy.
- Move any furniture and general equipment listed by BOH Manager around the building.
- Clean and clear the catering corridor in accordance with cleaning schedule.
- Clean and clear the staff changing area
- Set-up boxes and events for the following day when required by the BOH Manager
- Complete the End of shift report
Health and Safety
- Follow all health and safety policy
- Report any Health and Safety hazards to the BOH Night Supervisor/BOH Manager.
- Complete the daily and weekly cleaning schedules.
Equipment
- Ensure store areas are clean and tidy at all times
- Ensure stores are very well organised and secure as required at End of Shift
Misc
- All areas must be clean and tidy at all times
- Attend all BOH meetings as per BOH Manager Requirements.
The ideal logistics porter will be strong, flexible and a good team player.
You must be well presented and be fluent in English.
