Turtle Tots North London are looking for a new teacher to join our team.
WE are starting lessons in a pool in Enfield and we would like a teacher able to teach on Thursday, Friday and Sunday mornings, up to 10 hours a week.  There can be flexibility on what is taken on during the week but any applicant must be able and willing to work on Sundays.
Applicants must hold or be prepared to attain the STA Award Qualification or ASA Level 1, STA teacher safety award, become a member of the STA and be fully DBS checked.
Once these qualifications are in place then the successful applicant must be able to attend a 5 day residential Turtle Tots Training course in Windsor from Aug 28th to Sept 1st. This course is funded by us and incorporates the STA Baby and toddler Swimming qualification.  Regardless of existing qualifications, everyone must attend this.
The successful applicant must have experience with babies, toddlers and parents be it in a parental or teaching role.
As the business grows there will also be opportunity for an administrative role so applicants should also give any details or experience relevant to this.

Teaching swimming to babies and toddlers (and their parents) can be incredibly rewarding and is really fun way to earn some money. You don't have to have taught before, you just need to be enthusiastic, approachable, reliable and be very happy in the water.
