B2B Magazine Subscription Sales Vacancy

We are a small financial media company that produces an investment publication focused on emerging markets.
Based in Central London, we are looking for an experienced subscription sales executive.
The candidate will be required to generate revenue from our existing client base, as well as sourcing new clients and revenue ideas.
Responsibilities
The candidate will be expected to sell our print and online subscriptions, and related products. Tasks will include:
• Maintaining and developing existing subscriptions client base
• Continually building and servicing contracts through meetings, telephone conversations and social functions
• Generating new subscriptions sales, including cross selling and up selling
• Following up on phone and digital in bound leads
• Supporting events and marketing efforts
Qualifications
• Education up to first degree level preferred but not required
• Excellent written and verbal commutation skills
• Intelligent, inquisitive and interested in digital and print content
• Previous demonstrable experience in a similar role is required
• At least 2 years’ experience in a sales or account management
• Must have previous telesales experience selling a B2B publication
• Have experience of presenting to financial services firms is preferred
• Able to sell over telephone as well as face to face
• PC skills; A working knowledge of Word and Excel is essential
• Able to work independently in a small team
Base: £22k to £25k pa DOE
OTE: £35k pa, including commissions and bonuses.
