The Great Eatern pub and hostel in Isle of Dogs, London, have exciting opportunities for full and part time front of house Staff and night-porters.
We're a young, independent pub company with a fantastic international team of Pub Lovers who work hard and play hard! We run backpacker hostels above easy going pubs. This is a great entry level position within a vibrant company who pride themselves on promoting from within.
While for the front of house positions some previous bar experience would obviously be an advantage, we place much more value on having the right people in our team. You can learn just about anything except a personality! So, the kind of person / people we are looking for would be Uber-friendly, enthusiastic, eager to learn and progress, hard-working and the kind of person that takes pride in their work.
As the Night Porter you'll be responsible for looking after our guests overnight, checking people in, general cleaning and serving up a continental breakfast.
We'll provide you with:
A starting wage of £7.50 moving to £8.00 after 3 months
Online training with industry recognised qualifications
A 50% discount on food and a 30% discount in drink at any of our Central London venues
Enrollment in our BETTER training program that will provide you with all the tools you need to be a huge success
