Who are we?
The Pride of Paddington is an iconic venue situated just 2 minutes from the main entrance to Paddington Station. This beautiful pub is multi-faceted with bar and restaurant on the ground floor, a backpackers hostel and hotel on the upper floors and our recently refurbished penthouse Airbnb apartment at the top of the shop.
This is a busy pub, so if you're not physically fit or scared of hard work then this isn't for you, however, if you're AWESOME then you'll fit right in.
What do you get from us?
We pay National Minimum Wage, regardless of how old you are (you must be at least 18), you also get a share of the tronc pot and any cash tips you earn are yours to keep. With the tronc payment you should be able to get at least £9 per hour. All our employees get paid weekly into their bank accounts so no waiting for weeks to get paid.
What do I need from you?
experience in hospitality is obviously preferred but don't worry if you've never worked in a bar before, we can teach you to pull pints and pour drinks. What is a must is an outstanding personality, punctuality, a willingness to work hard and learn, a beaming smile and a passion for serving others.
