Neve is my daughter and recovering from Autism. She's gone from non verbal and unable to connect with people, to a loving and chatty 4.5 yr old. We run a 55 hr per week programme called Son Rise from home and have a growing team of nannies and volunteers who help her through play. We have OT students, psychology students, ballet teachers, 6th formers wanting to study medicine and vibrant over 60s who love children and wanted to help. We urgently need more volunteers to keep her programme going.
We need people who are enthusiastic, reliable and willing to learn a very special approach called Son Rise to help us help Neve. We ask for 2 hrs per week and at least one year of commitment from you. In return, you'll join an amazing team and the chance to play with one incredible, brave little girl.
This is a volunteering post but reasonable expenses e.g travel by public transport can be provided.
