Our client portfolio ranges from private companies to high net worth individuals with specific emphasis on owner managed businesses.
We are seeking an individual whose role will involve a mixture of accounts, tax and audit work. The varied nature of the role makes it ideal for an individual who is keen to develop into a well-rounded practice accountant.
Duties and responsibilities
Preparation of company accounts and corporation tax returns.
Preparation of accounts for sole traders, and partnerships.
Assist in the preparation of the audit plan and ensures it appropriately addresses audit objectives.
Take an active part in the audit planning and fraud discussion to identify audit risks and appropriate audit strategy.
Involvement in all aspects of audit fieldwork and completion,
Ensure planned audit work is appropriately completed to satisfy audit objectives.
Skills:
AAT Qualified or studying towards ACCA
experience of assisting on audit assignments.
Good working knowledge of CCH Accounts Production, Sage Line 50 and Microsoft Excel.
