Audio Visual Rental Events Technician

Main tasks
- Review jobs to ensure that the equipment specification meets the requirement
- Assist the Operations department with the specification and selection of cross-hired equipment
- Plan the rig and de-rig of larger jobs
- Brief, direct and co-ordinate technicians on site
- Set up, install, tech and de-install equipment on site to a consistently high standard
- As requested by the Warehouse Manager set up and test equipment for specific jobs
- Take full responsibility for all non-personnel while on site during rigs and de-rigs and ensure that they are fully briefed
- Manage and direct all non-personnel throughout the job
- Ensure that a safe working environment at all times
- When working in the warehouse carry out other warehouse tasks and roles as directed by the Department Manager
- Deliver technically outstanding events that exceeds client expectations
Skills profile
- Competent in a prepping and operating a wide range of Audio-visual equipment
- Good IT skills
- Good time management and planning ability
- Strong drive to expand personal skillset and to help improve service offerings
- Strong communication skills
- Strong audiovisual skills are essential and an ability to demonstrate leadership skills is equally important
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Excellent communicator and have a positive 'can do' attitude
You will need to be a confident in your abilities, reliable, able to meet strict deadlines and lead a team in a busy environment. Everything we do is time critical, so the ability to work efficiently and sometimes for extended hours is critical, whilst maintaining a very high quality of output.
