Venue in Brixton is looking to employ an Audio-visual technician based in London, preferably SW and SE area. You will be working in a high paced environment. You will be engineering for line-up of DJs, Live Bands and Musicians.
Full time position with minimum of 40 hours hours per week. To be ready to work flexible hours, weekends, evenings and some bank holidays. Working hours may vary depending on the schedule of the weekly events.
Duties and Responsibilities:
-You will be responsible for Audio-visual equipment, PA Systems, Lighting and Projection
- Operating Audio-visual equipment during events
- Ready to work solo on some nights
- Deal with high profile artists and performers
- Support installed Audio-visual equipment across the venue such as screens, music system, lights etc.
- Customer service skills required
- Good communication
- Willing to work odd hours and weekends
- Willing to learn and take on new projects as required
Requirements:
Candidates should have a minimum of 2 years’ experience of high end audio systems and professional performance environments and venues.
Proactive with strong work ethic desirable
Good understanding of lighting and sound production
Potential knowledge of Midas Pro series would be beneficial
Ability to work just as well in a team and when unmanaged is essential
Competitive Salary depending on experience
