We are a warm and welcoming English-Spanish family with 4 lovely children (10, 8, 4, 2). We are looking for a wonderful au-pair plus/mother's help/live in nanny, ideally to start on 29th August for a minimum of 12-18 months. This is a great opportunity to live, work and get vast experience in childcare in London.
We have had always had wonderful au-pairs, each whom have chosen to stay for 18-24 months. They have all loved their experience, learnt so much, become great friends and returned to their home countries with superb experience and excellent references.
We live in a fantastic area of London. The beautiful, open parkland of Hampstead Heath is at the end of our road for outdoor activities, and the tube is just 5 minutes walk away with access to all the central London activities in 15 minutes.
Our ideal candidate would:
* be 21 years and over
* have a minimum of 1 year experience in childcare
*have excellent checkable references
* be organised, proactive and reliable with all the aspects of our home life including: children’s daily schedule, household tasks, cooking, tidying up, laundry …
* enjoy being creative, fun, positive and active with the children
*love outdoor life
* enjoy being part of a busy, happy household with 4 children
* speak good English (and if Spanish, be happy to teach and play with the children in Spanish)
*enjoy helping with reading, homework and music practice
* there is the opportunity for you to come to the countryside some weekends and on holidays if you wish (but not essential)
Essential:
*Clean driving licence, ability and confident to drive an automatic car in the UK
*Be available for an interview and trial day in London
The role is live-in. Hours are Monday – Friday 7.30am-7.30pm. During school term times, we are happy to accommodate you having a couple of mornings a week off to study (9-12 while our youngest is at nursery), in return for babysitting if you wish.
