*Au Pair Plus / Mother’s Help to start May / June 2022*
We are a fun loving, busy and friendly family, looking for a kind, responsible, committed, experienced and most importantly, warm and affectionate full time au pair plus \ mothers helper who has worked with young children and babies before to help us with our 4 year old son and 10 month old baby boy.
We have a lovely 5 bedroomed family house in Highgate, NW66AA and you need to be happy to commit to 12 months or more.
We are providing a separate room for you with a TV and Wireless Internet Access and food included, and a shared family bathroom.
Ideally you would be between 23 - 40 years of age, love babies and children and had experience working for a family in the UK before.
Mum and Dad both work full time 4/5 days a week. Mum is 39 years old and owns property development business and works primarily from home and Dad is 44 years old and runs a DJ management company.
You will need to be:
Experienced and enthusiastic in looking after your children and babies
• Very affectionate and loving towards our children
• Flexible, responsible, reliable, honest and well organised
• Energetic, with good initiative and good sense of humour
• A non smoker
• You will need to have good spoken English and a passport that enables you to travel throughout Europe
Your duties will include:
• Preparing and taking our baby to baby classes, local playgroups, parks and playing with him every day. All activities our baby is involved with are within easy walking distance or a short bus or tube ride and we will pay your Oyster card for these.
• Preparing and taking our 4 year old to nursery and collecting him and playing with him after nursery
• Keeping our baby in his daily routine every day including feeding him and putting him down for naps
• Doing creative and fun play activities with both our baby and 4 year old at home and in the garden
• Feeding our baby and 4 year breakfast, lunch or dinner (normally one or two meals a day will be given by you), Mum will usually be present for mealtimes and most cooked food will be prepared by us in advance
• Helping with bath times and some bedtimes
• Light daily housekeeping including light cleaning and keeping the house tidy
We will need you to work 40 hours a week, including one half-day (either morning or afternoon) at the weekend, with 1-2 nights babysitting per week (one of which is a weekend night). We are away for at least 10 weekends a year and you will have these weekends off. We will agree your weekly hours, including babysitting nights, in advance so that you can make plans for your free time. You will have 20 days of holiday a year plus all UK bank holidays (about 11 days a year) and you will also have 1 full day off a week. We will pay you £180 a week.
It is very important to us that you are happy during your time with us, and we will make lots of effort to ensure that your stay with us and your time looking after our boys is a fun one.
