Au Pair Plus required in Central London
- traditional au pair role, 35 hours per week + 2 Eves babysitting
- central London (Maida Vale)
- family with three girls aged 9, 8 and 4, a small dog, and new baby due Easter 2022
- Father works long hours, mother currently works 2 days per week but will start maternity leave in February 2022
We are looking for an amazing au pair to join our family.
We are looking for someone who is:
- bright and positive
- mature, patient and understanding
- kind but firm where necessary
- fun and active
- you must be confident enough in English language to communicate easily
- you must truly LIKE children and enjoy their company!
Your duties would vary slightly every day but would usually involve:
Monday to Friday:
7-9.15am: help get girls up, ready for school, breakfast, hair done, remember school bags, etc. Assist with school run (10 min walk), take dog to park for a run around.
During the day-time you would be free to attend English lessons, see London, go to the gym, meet friends, etc.
3.15-8pm: Assist with school pick up or walk dog, help take children to after school activities, prepare dinner, supervise homework, help with bath, stories and bed time.
Two evenings per week babysitting, but often less.
Saturday and Sunday: would usually be free, apart from pre-arranged babysitting, or if hours have been swapped by mutual consent.
We have a separate cleaner who comes once a week to do a deep clean but we would like you to help with packing / unpacking dishwasher, washing up, help with cooking for children where necessary, wipe down kitchen bathrooms, and help keep children’s rooms tidy and make sure their uniforms are clean/ready.
We offer £100 per week. You would have your own bright, sunny, newly decorated room in our home, and would share a bathroom with the children. We live near a park / tube / bus Stops and lots of fun coffee shops etc.
We are a loyal family. Our last nanny stayed with us for 3 years and we have had a ‘summer au pair’ who came to help us in the holidays for 5 years in a row!
