We are looking for a Live-in or Live-out Au Pair to start Mid October.
Ideally looking for a one year placement with an easy going family.
ABOUT US:
We are parents to 2 boys aged 8 and 12 who are incredibly loving.
They are both very kind, adventurous and energetic. They love sport and the outdoors.
As a family we are very close and enjoy playing and learning together.
My eldest is into space, maths and science. He is a really kind person and a great friend.
My youngest is a real engineer and wants to know how everything works. He says he wants to be a surgeon when he grows up. He loves to make people laugh and is fun to be around.
They are very popular at school with their friends and the mums who often tell me how they are a pleasure to have round.
Education is very important to us as parents and that includes having lots of fun.
THE ROLE:
Duties will include
Morning:
- Make sure the kids are ready for school
- Ensure they have breakfast (the eldest is quite self sufficient)
- Take the youngest to the local primary school
- Very light housework including tidying away the breakfast things, tidying the boys rooms where they have missed bits (although I expect them to do this themselves) and clothes washing that needs doing
Afternoon:
- Pick up youngest son from primary school
- Arrange play dates / social time with the youngest's friends
- Making the boys healthy dinners (enjoying cooking is a plus)
- Help with youngest son's homework
- Take to local activities (all within a 1 mile radius from home)
The hours during school time are 7.30am-10am and 3pm-7pm.
School holidays will be a little longer.
One of us works from home 1 day a week so generally it will be the equivalent of a 4 day week with weekends off.
We would require babysitting once a week during the week and once a fortnight on a Saturday or Sunday.
We would like someone with a full clean driving licence, ideally with own car (we have a driveway to park on)
We live close to amenities including transport.
You would have your own room, WiFi, own bathroom and a laptop if you would like one.
