Once the children are in bed you are free to go to your own room and do what you want, including going to sleep.
We may need you to work extra time at weekends for special events such as birthday parties, during the day during school holidays, and if the children are sick and off school. You will share the top floor of the house with our lodger who has lived with us for 14 years, and is a quiet and lovely dance teacher, working in the school opposite. You will have your own large bedroom, and share a kitchen/diner, toilet, shower and washing machine with our lodger. The children are not allowed onto the top floor unless you invite them, and you and our lodger are responsible for keeping it clean and tidy. We will provide furniture, bedding, a television and wifi.
Holidays
You will have four weeks (20 days) paid leave pro rata. This time must be agreed in advance with us. You will also have all bank holidays off.
Weekends
You will have weekends off, unless you are required to babysit in the evening. Occasionally we may ask you to help with the children during the day at the weekend (for example birthday parties). We will give you two weeks’ notice, and give you time off in the week, or, if this is not possible, pay you £10 for each extra hour worked.
School Holidays
