Au Pair for Friendly Family in NW London

Posted: 20-05-2024
Place: Highgate, Greater London

We are a warm and friendly family from Highgate, a beautiful part of London.

We have 3 kids. A girl aged 4.5 and two boys aged 7 and.
9. They are loving and fun kids who enjoy sport of all kinds, cooking, arts and crafts and music.

We are looking for an equally friendly and warm au pair to join our family.

We are bilingual French and English speaking (Mum is bilingual, Dad speaks only English!) so a French speaker would be a plus.
About Us
We have recently moved to a large house with beautiful garden in Highgate, a leafy part of North London. Hampstead Heath is very nearby and it's a short walk into Highgate village for cafes or a short bus ride to Hampstead for beautiful shops.

All our children are at school Monday to Friday and have activities after school and at weekends.

Our 9 year old boy plays a lot of football and violin. Our 7 year old son is an avid reader and dancer. And our 4 year old daughter loves horses, cooking and singing.

We have a house in Oxfordshire near Henley and go there often during school holidays and would love you to come with us. It is on a riding school and all our children are keen horse riders.
Expectations
Our au pair will have her own bedroom with desk, tv and sofa and private bathroom on a separate floor of the house. She will also have use of a manual car during the week.

We need help in the mornings from 7-9am with breakfast and school runs. And then afternoons from 3 to 7pm most days for school pick up and after school activities as well as making supper for the children. We may also want help on Saturday mornings for children's activities but can be very flexible on this (and another morning off would be given in lieu). Because our children attend different schools, a driver is essential.
Total hours per week: 30-35

Dad works full time and Mum runs her own business working flexibly including some evening events so we would need up to 3 nights of babysitting per week including EITHER friday or saturday night.

We have a cleaner who comes most days but we are a very clean and tidy family. Our au pair would be asked to do some light housework related to the children including tidying the kitchen after the children' supper, helping them to keep their rooms and Toys tidy, children laundry and ironing school uniform where necessary.

Benefits
Weekly pocket money £120 per week (neg dep experience )
Lovely private room with own bathroom on a separate floor of our house.
Use of manual car
A very friendly family!
