Dear Au Pair,
We are a couple with two lovely children. Finley is 5 years old and Evelyn is 3 years old. My husband and I are both British, however I was brought up in the USA and moved back to the UK in 2008.
We are currently looking for an au pair to start with us in 2-4 weeks time (end of July/August 2022). We have had au pair helping us for the past 18 months, but she now has to leave. We are looking for 25-30 hours per week with 1-2 evenings per week of baby-sitting.
We can provide a detached, ensuite bedroom with a private entrance. You will have a TV, small refrigerator, and tea kettle in your room. But of course, you are welcome to join us in our living room and kitchen whenever you like. We will also provide you with financial assistance in funding your public transport use while you are with us.
I know I may be biased, but I think our children are well behaved and a joy to be around. We have always had great feedback when we have had others look after them for us.
We live in southwest Greater London close to very nice parks and near Hampton Court Palace.
We would like someone caring and compassionate. We would also like you to be outgoing and be willing to take them to play activities and help them with interactive play at home.
Finley will need to be taken and picked up from a school and possibly an after school activity sometimes (school and activities are all 10-15 minute walk away). Evelyn will also start morning pre-school in September.
We expect light housekeeping to keep things tidy (as much as possible with two young children). Also, you will be required to make meals as needed for the children.
We require our au pair to work over 3 days of the week in Summer and then the hours will change to being split over 4 days when school resumes in September, 2022. We are offering £100/week plus £50/month to help out with transport costs.
